For about 60 years, families here have come to us first when something hurts. The practice was built around a simple idea: when you are in pain, you should be able to walk in and be seen the same day.
Dr. Rob was the heart of the Applewood Chiropractic Family, after his passing we have remained committed to carrying forward the care, compassion, and personal attention that have defined this clinic for generations. While the practice has grown and evolved, that promise has not changed—and it is why so many patients continue to come back and bring the people they care about.

I’ve been going to Applewood Chiro for about 5 months, and Dr. A has been incredible. He built me a personalized plan to help with a shoulder impingement I’ve struggled with for YEARS, and I am genuinely pain-free because of his treatment and consistent appointments. Appointments are flexible and quick; I’m always comfortable during adjustments and soft tissue work, and the practice as a whole is a gem. Worth mentioning: I started seeing Dr. A based on a recommendation from a friend who had been seeing him for 4-5 years. Really just a great doctor. Highly recommend this chiropractic practice!

While my chiro was on maternity leave, I decided to try Applewood for a neck issue that was unresolved after 6 weeks of other chiropractors and remedies. After a few appointments with Arian, the neck felt 80% improved. Between that and a brain entrainment practice for three days in a row (YouTube video/audio with earphones in), it is now 100% and has not returned in two plus weeks! Tammy is so kind and helped answer some initial questions before my first appt. The pop-in no-appointment-needed method is so great. I never wait long and the treatment is swift also. And the “physical therapy” or massage support they offer after the adjustments is also helpful (though I had to say to go lighter by >50% as it was too intense and made me tense up). All in all, I will return for tune ups from the chiropractic doctors here!

I started going to Applewood Chiropractic a few weeks ago because of hip stiffness that was becoming painful. Dr. Schupe evaluated me and diagnosed the issue as an SI problem. After just a few visits that included adjustments, dry needling—which feels very strange but works amazingly well—and deep massage, the issue is nearly gone. Dr. Schupe and his team truly know what they’re doing. Every time I go, I’m amazed by how different and how good I feel afterward. I feel more balanced, and my muscles are able to work better together. A huge shout-out to the friendly front desk staff, as well as Mona and Jade downstairs, who have helped my muscles release tightness they have held onto for more than a decade. Give them a try!

What most people ask before their first visit
Do I need an appointment?
No. We are a walk-in clinic in Wheat Ridge, so you can be seen the same day. If you would rather have a set time, you can request one ahead of time, and our front desk will confirm it.
Do you take emergency walk-ins?
Yes. If you are dealing with an acute injury or sudden pain, you can walk in the same day for an emergency visit. However, if it is a true medical emergency, call 911.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most insurance plans, including MedPay and liens for auto injuries, and we offer a straightforward cash-pay option. A few services, like spinal decompression and shockwave, are cash-pay. Our front desk can check your coverage when you come in.
Do you treat veterans?
Yes. Veterans are always welcome here, and we accept Triwest coverage for eligible veterans through the VA Community Care Network. If you are not sure whether your care is covered, our front desk can help you sort it out when you come in.
